“This hotel is located close Santa Maria Novella within an easy walk of City Center from where you can catch the tour buses and the airport buses. I travelled with a friend and we were very pleased with the quality of the room - loved the adjustable beds which had extremely comfortable mattresses. I had asked at the time of booking if we could have a room overlooking Strozzi Palace and was told they would try but couldn't guarantee it. When we arrived we found we did have a lovely room with a round jacuzzi bath (glass door from bathroom into hall meant you had to close the hall door for privacy so not so good for the shy or casual companions!) and a balcony overlooking the famous street. It was lovely to be able to stand on the balcony and watch the world go by yet when we closed the (3!) double glazed doors we could hear no noise from the street at all.”

Best Western Hotel Rivoli is great and has a sense of humor combined with functionality and a designer flair. The Best Western Hotel Rivoli is situated in the heart of Florence, close to Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the Exhibition and Congress Centre of the city and the most important tourist attractions (the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizzi Gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts where Michelaneglo's celebrated David can be found).The hotel is an ex Franciscan convent dating back to the 15th Century which has been restored to its unique splendour. Throughout the hotel the classic ceilings, cross vaults, stone arches and pillars all add to it's character. The style and charm of the public areas combine perfectly with the elegant and modern rooms, of which the majority face on to the patio and internal garden, where guests can enjoy the large Whirlpool Jacuzzi� heated to a temperature of 35�c all year round.Just 100 metres from the Hotel Rivoli the hotel offers to its guests the free use of a fully equipped gym It is possible to make bookings for the main Florentine museums and excursions.Free newspapers in reception. The gardens between the main house and the other wing are beautiful.
