“We found this hotel based on reviews and, once again, we were not disappointed. Imaginative, spotlessly clean, modern, stylish, every attention to detail, friendly, helpful, bright, superb breakfasts (and evening meals). But there was also a special something we've not experienced in any hotel before. It really felt like somewhere we could have stayed and lived in forever. The room (and it was only one of the cheaper ones) was spacious, comfortable, light, bright and with every possible amenity. We felt completely at home and were very reluctant to leave. It's situated a 5 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. We would not stay anywhere else in Barcelona.”

We are glad to meet you at elegant, charming Palace. Old fashioned grandeur and elegance distinguish Hotel Palace from other ‘chain’ 5-star hotels, usually deprived of character and individuality. Unrivalled location right off the glamorous Las Ramblas area and close to the city’s historical and cultural centre makes this property an ideal base for exploring Barcelona by foot or using convenient transportation links.

Rooms are very European: large and modern furnishings but are lovingly attended to by the housekeeping staff.

The historical building housing the hotel, dating back the turn of the 20th century, still preserves its authentic spirit and charm, even though it was completely renovated in 2008 in order to cater to the needs of the modern, even the most demanding traveler. The hotel was formerly known as ‘Ritz’, which speaks for itself, as this hotels chain is associated with highest standards and luxury.

Each guestroom is a little gem of classical style, yet not lacking functionality. All of them have marbled bathrooms with exquisite toiletries and bathrobes, hairdryer and make-up mirrors, climate control, satellite TV with premium channels, direct-dial phone, Wi-Fi, radio clock, safe, and minibar. The rooms overlook a beautiful inner garden or have spectacular views on the city.
