Hotel Habita (Mexico City,Mexico) - reviews, photos, prices.

“We just returned from our trip to Mexico City, and I've already had the chance to recommend Habita to other people heading in that direction. It's great value for the money and you can't beat the location! The family running the hotel is superb. Very friendly, excellent English and they really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We stayed in the family room mentioned in one of the previous reviews. If you're used to staying in a standard/vanilla chain hotel, you might be put off by some of the ABBA-esque decor. That being said, we thought the room was brilliant. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. The kids had their own bedroom and loved having a TV and sink all to themselves. There is a nice continental breakfast buffet included in the price of the room. Loads of bread and jam, cereal, meats and cheeses. Our little guy is an early riser, so it was great to have breakfast at 7am (a rarity in Dublin hotels!) and be on the tourist trail before rush hour. As other reviewers have noted, the location is perfect for families. Castillo de Chapultepec is just a couple of blocks from the hotel; with a cafe, post office. The house tour is worthwhile, and the park itself is magnificent.I agree with the other good reviews about the Hirschgarten as well. The food is good, the beer garden perfection, and there is a lot of room for both adults and children to blow off some energy. Great playgrounds are spread out throughout the park, plus rollerblading/biking trails, hills to climb, etc. It was great to have all of this so close to the hotel.”
