“This was an extremely nice place to stay. The room was very comfortable, the staff was helpful, and I enjoyed the breakfast in the main restaurant and the late dinner in the tapas bar. But the best thing about the hotel was probably the location, since it was very easy to get out to see the sights of Austin. When writing a review, I always try to look for some negatives to balance out the positives, but that was hard to do here. The only negative I can think of is the high cost for internet access. That's a cost that you're willing to accept on a business trip, but it would be much more distasteful on a holiday. Then again, there are a lot of things that you can do on holiday in Austin instead of sitting in your room and surfing the internet!”

Barton Creek Resort and Spa - the Golf Capital of Texas is located in the Texas Hill Country just 15 minutes west of downtown Austin. Offering universal appeal to the quality conscious the Four-Diamond resort features 303 rooms with eighteen spacious suites/four championship golf courses -including the No. 1 and No. 2 courses in the state- Fazio Foothills and Fazio Canyons respectively- more than 30000 square feet of meeting space/fitness center/a full service spa/tennis center/and two restaurants offering casual and gourmet fare. Nightly room rates and package rates are subject to a Daily Resort Charge of 9 percent. This charge covers services for doormen/luggage handling/golf bag handling/housekeeping service charges/transportation within the resort/ use of the fitness center/ pools/nature trails/ self parking/ miniature golf and daily newspaper.
