“My wife and I did not know what to expect when we arrived at Grand Hotel President. We were a bit over over high-rise hotel type accommodation and were hoping for a more spacious apartment which was self catering and in a quiet location. The communication via email before we arrived was excellent and a pickup from the railway station was arranged. We were greeted by staff who went out of his way to explain in detail our accommodation and really helpful advice about how to get around Sorrento. He even walked us to the tram stop to show us where to go! Sorrento turned out to be the highlight of our trip after five weeks in Europe. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, very clean, serviced daily and well maintained. We were served breakfast in our room each day which was traditional food (even the yummy chocolate and cake for breakfast). The room we had also had cooking facilities and a decent refrigerator. We couldn't have wished for better and would certainly stay there again when we return to Sorrento.”

The Grand Hotel President,with beautiful views of the Bay of Naples, Marina Grande - the old fishing village - Sorrento, the sea, Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia, and the white wakes of the hydrofoils, speed boats, ferries and yachts speeding over the sea. 108 rooms, all with bath or shower, air conditioning, telephone, colour TV and satellite system, internet connection, Spacious rooms for functions and congresses. The hotel has an excellent restaurant - Vesuvio - with a good choice of local or International dishes. As you dine in the Vesuvio you will enjoy the fabulous panoramic views over the Bay of Naples. Situated within the hotel you will find the President Club Health and Beauty centre - guests will receive a 50pct reduction voucher off of their first treatment in the beauty centre, 1 voucher per room - where you can enjoy many services such as a solarium, massages, Sauna, Turkish Baths, Thalatherm, Jacuzzi system and various body and facial treatments. Around the hotel you will find Mini golf, Garden with natural grottoes, Snack bar, American Bar, Solarium, the Swimming pool and complimentary parking. The Grand hotel President operates a regular complimentary bus service to the town centre and vice versa.
