“We travelled to Manchester on october/2009, and Britannia Manchester is a perfect place to stay. We came from Vienna, were we stayed at an elegant hotel, but it doesn't compare to Britannia Manchester. It's owner is a very friendly person and assisted us whenever we needed him. The room is very nice, very clean and has everything that you may need. It's well located and you can reach the most important turistic places by walking. It worth a visit!”

Dating back to 1858 this City Centre grade II listed building has an amazing detailed balconied stairway throughout the building. All 363 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with TV, Hairdryer, Trouser Press and Tea and Coffee making facilities. There are some rooms that do not have a window but most have skylights and are air-conditioned, choosing these allows you to save some money for those budget conscious! The hotel also boasts three great restaurants that include Crompton's French Restaurant serving traditional French Cuisine, Jenny's Restaurant and bar with its excellent value for money 3-course Carvery Lunch and Dinner and The Overstuffed Pizzeria with a varied selection of Italian Dishes and lighter meals in bright and air surroundings. In addition there are three bars, Cromptons Bar being the quiet, ambient residents bar to Bar Rouge, a popular and vibrant bar, open till late for residents and non-residents. There are nine Conference rooms available for any occasion and cater for up to 250 people. Wi-Fi is free to all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel.
