“My husband and I recently stayed at The Berkeley for 4 days. We found it to be above our expectations. It was roomy, spotlessly clean, up to date, and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfasts were satisfying with good coffee. We enjoyed many conversations with other guests in the mornings. Tram 17 was a short walk away, and we used it often to get to the train station for day trips and other excursions around the area. Buckingham Palace was a short walk down the block from the hotel. We ate at its restaurant and enjoyed the beer garden and the cool autumn weather. We will definitely stay there again. There are plans to put in an elevator during the next year for those who have trouble with stairs.”
