“Having just completed a 4 night stay this hotel is seamlessly run and quite frankly superb. Located in a beautiful residential area it is a quiet haven with gorgeous stately homes as neighbours. The staff discretely go about their business and things just happen. Evening turndown is always perfectly timed, towels are changed even if you don't leave everything on the floor/in the bath (because lets face it we all want fresh towels but never know if they'll actually be changed!). The local konditorei is yum scrum and the hotel is more than eager to send up plates, forks and napkins on request for your afternoon torte (it's a holiday afterall!). Local restaurants are superb . Vivaldi restaurant in the hotel is also fabulous. The setting from a bygone era but still with a modern touch. There's nothing more to be said.”

Egerton Grey has recently had a change of ownership and a vast overall improvement has taken place. Considerable refurbishment internally as well as landscaping and planting in our 7 acres has taken place along with an emphasis in a higher standard of cuisine and service. Egerton Grey is the nearest hotel to Cardiff International Airport and is only 20 minutes from Cardiff City Centre. Transport can easily be arranged. Also note that it is the nearest hotel to RAF St Athan / DARA / British Airways Maintenance Facility and La Farge. For Corporate Clients the hotel offers large comfortable rooms with a large desk for working. Tea/Coffee - TV - trouser press - internet connection - as well as room servcie for those who wish to work during the evening. Early breakfast can be arranged as well as transport for the early morning flights from the airport just 1.5 miles away. Egerton Grey is a distinguished Country House Hotel which was formerly a 19th Century Rectory.
