“This is a really stylish hotel. We stayed here for two nights on honeymoon and were really really pleased with it. Firstly, the room was very spacious, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The room and the linen were all super-clean. The breakfast spread was huge and extremely good. The hotel's website describes it as wine-themed, which might be going a bit to far but the food was plentiful and tasty. The staff were helpful and made restaurant recommendations & bookings for us in nearby places. We'll definitely look to go back here next time we're in Singapore.”

The hotel consists of five shop-houses built in 1929 and features 32 individually designed rooms decked in a mix of classic designer and retro vintage furniture. Guests will find that no two rooms are alike, with everything from furnishings and beds right down to the unique clear glass bathrooms. 1929 also offers two specially designed suites with outdoor baths set in tropical roof gardens that overlook the bright lights and bustling streets of charming Chinatown. Unique, hip, and comfortable rooms that are stylish yet truly affordable. Hotel 1929 is located overlooking the bustling streets of Chinatown in Singapore, close to the MRT station, and a few minutes from the business district.
