“This was our second stay at Rocco Forte The Augustine. The first stay was for two nights. This stay was for 5 nights so we could explore more of Prague. The hotel is about two blocks from St. Nicolas Church and around the corner from Prague Castle . The rooms are beautiful and spotless, but I have found that true in all our stays in Prague. We had a Double Room with plenty of room and storage. There is a safe and mini bar. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful. There is a very nice sized breakfast room, bright and airy. The included breakfast was fabulous and the wait staff were very helpful and attentive. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and they always greeted you when entering and leaving the lobby. When we go back to Charles Bridge we will stay here again!”

History

Reflecting the graciousness and style of Prague, The Augustine represents the newest property of the Rocco Forte Collection.Opening late 2008,it is located in the tranquillity of the historic Mala Strana,a five minute walk over the famous Charles Bridge.The Augustine consists of a complex of five historic buildings,the largest and most important being the 13th century Augustinian St.Thomas Monastery,after which the hotel is named.
