“We stayed at this hotel in Rome for 2 days then drove out of town for 3 days then returned for 3 more days, keeping most of our luggage stored at the hotel. The location was perfect, near Piazza del Popolo and Castel Sant' Angelo. The staff spoke close to perfect English and were very helpful. The hotel had been recently renovated and we stayed both in a standard room, and later in a suite. Both rooms were clean, well laid out, roomy and despite the location, quiet! The beds were electric and both rooms had a spa bath. It was wonderful.”

The elegant and quiet establishment of the Casa Valdese was managed as a hotel by the Protestant Church in Italy a long time ago. It is accredited as a 3 star hotel, but any guest would admit that its service and professionalism of hospitable staff goes far beyond that.

The property is set in the Prati area of Rome on a peaceful and quiet side street, but even with that the street is a central one of the city. It provides a quick access to any tourist site, be it a historical architectural marvel or just a shopping district: St. Peters; the grand city of Vatican; Piazza del Popolo; Piazza Navona; Campo dei Fiori; Piazza di Spagna, Villa Borghese and many more.

All 33 rooms are equipped with private bath, heating and air conditioning, satellite TV and phones for internal and outside calls.

Also be sure to make use of a lunch room and sitting areas that are suitable for business or friendly meetings as well as just general socializing.

For those seeking a quiet isolated working space a conference room equipped with 20 seats is also available for you at all times.
