“This was a very elegant and comfortable room with a large bathroom. We were concerned on arriving that we were near the front door but the room was very quiet. The hotel is on a side street a short walk to Santa Justa Elevator and is very convenient. This is a city for walking as there is beauty everywhere and it was nice to come back to such a beautiful room - it's close enough to stop in before heading out again. I recall a flat screen TV in the corner but in our 6 days there we never turned it on. Why would you with Lisbon outside your door? Don't miss the garlic soup and the skewers at restaurant, the great cafe a short walk from the hotel and stop for Castelo Sao Jorge. We would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke english (as do many of the folks in restaurants, museums and shops).”

All modern rooms of Hotel Mundial are well-equipment and has comfortable furniture. Hotel Mundial inaugurated on the 3rd of december 1958, has gone through several stages of refurbishement and extension, the last one in May 2004. Situated in the heart of Lisbon, the Baixa Pombalina, with the historical St George's Castle in the background and Rossio square close by, its location is one of the most distinguished characterics and justifies the slogan 'feel the city' All the staff is quite friendly with smiles.
