Hospes Madrid has beautiful rooms, the bathroom was pristine with a lovely free-standing bath The Hospes Madrid commands one of the most enviable positions in the city. It’s located on the lively Plaza de la Independencia across the street from the Retiro (Central Park), right near a metro stop, and a 15-20 minute walk from the Prado and Thyssen museums, the old city, and shopping. Around the corner is a residential neighborhood with nice restaurants and little shops. Albeit having a chic look and luxurious adorning dictated by the Restoration period, the hotel’s architecture is maintained in, from the first moment you enter, you notice the very personal touch this hotel offers you. Here the lofty elegance is smartly combined with an intimate atmosphere of a heartfelt welcome.
