“Royal Hotel was the second hotel of our trip to Umea. We spent two nights here and really didn't want to leave. The service is impeccable and the staff welcoming and friendly. Our room 501 was tastefully decorated and spacious.Although we did have the car park view - it didn't really bother us. What is more important to us is to be able to sleep well and on both night's it was blissfully quiet. There is a great view of the city from the roof . The location is great - easy walking distant to the sights and shops. A top hotel that really deserves it's number one spot. Would definitely recommend.”

Royal Hotel provides an excellent 24/7 buffet instead of a mini bar in the room which was always well stocked. A prime hotel located in central Umea. Royal Hotel is the newest hotel in town nicely decorated and with a personal service. The hotel offers a 24 hour room service relaxation facilities sauna Jacuzzi and a solarium. The hotel also has a cinema facility which offers 3 films each evening. All 68 guest rooms of which 55 are non-smoking have hair dryer iron and a bathrobe. Greta's Restaurant and Bar offers traditional a la carte menus with a local influence. In the spacious lounge bar Goodbar guest may enjoy soul afro club bossa jazz easy listening... The nearest golf course is situated approximately 17 kilometres from the hotel. Both badminton and bowling facilities are situated about 5 kilometres from the hotel. Several attractive beaches which can be visited during the summer are located some 20 kilometres away and outdoor swimming facilities Ume��� Lagun is situated 6 kilometres away. The hotels relaxation facilities comprise both a Jacuzzi and a sauna. The staff will be always friendly and happy to help by making a phone call for reservations or offering advice.
