“Extremely well located - literally only a few minutes walk to either Muscarelle Museum of Art or City Center. A large apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine/clothes dryer (some extra cost if you used the cooking appliances and dishwasher - fridge and tea/coffee facilities are complimentary). Separate lounge and dining area. Very helpful staff who spoke excellent english.”

The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful and it's location is ideal for having a good rest. Prefer to go back in time, and back to nature, too? Nestled on the edge of a secluded pine grove, this moderately priced, official, onsite Colonial Williamsburg hotel is a family haven. And no other similarly-priced Williamsburg hotel is as conveniently located -- the Woodlands Hotel & Suites is right at the starting point of the 18th-century, at the Visitor Center for Colonial Williamsburg. You can follow the Nature Trail to the Historic Area, or just hop on a shuttle. The Bridge to the Past and recreational facilities at the Woodlands Hotel & Suites make it a great vacation destination for any family. The kids can enjoy the pool, and all can relax among the deep shade and gentle silence of the pines, miles apart and 200 years away from the cares of daily life.
