“I have NEVER written a review before but this time I feel compelled to do so. Not only is this hotel elegant and well located but the staff is by far the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. Everyone from the doormen to the front desk to the concierge is accomodating and very helpful. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. The continental breakfast was a delicious start to our day. They had a very nice selection of foods. I highly recommend this hotel!”

The marvelous Hotel Place D'armes gives you a good chance to have a rest after a busy day. Hotel Place d'Armes is Old Montreal's first boutique hotel. Its 83 luxurious rooms and 52 suites will surely charm you. Set in three historic Old Montreal buildings, it is only a few steps away from the Notre Dame Basilica, the Montreal Convention Center and the Old Port, and within walking distance of Downtown Montreal. Its sober and elegant decor blends the opulent and classic elements of the 1880 structures with modern minimalist touches. The intricate woodwork and brick walls add warmth to the guest rooms, along with their 200-thread count sheets, terrycloth bathrobes and towels and down comforters and pillows. Hypoallergenic rooms available upon request. All guest rooms are equipped with multi-line and cordless telephones, electronic safety deposit boxes and gourmet mini-bars. Our luxurious bathrooms are equipped with upscale bath products, and some include Jacuzzis and rain showerheads. During their stay, hotel guests may enjoy a complimentary afternoon wine and cheese cocktail in the hip lounge, Suite 701, as well as room service, valet parking, fitness center, spa with Hammam and terrace.
