“What a great hotel. We arrived late, so wanted to have a leisurely morning, having read all the reviews, the breakfast sounded great, and the front desk staff were only too happy to bring up what ever we wanted, and there was no charge for delivery etc, just great presentation, wonderfully tasty and only too happy to bring more tea a few hours later. The room was large, and the shower was big enough for a party. If you are travelling with friends, be warned the shower has a glass door which is visible from the room, advantageous however if you are with someone you are a little more familiar with. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Copacabana Beach. The two restaurant recommendations the hotel reception gave us were both great, and both times exactly the type of restaurant we asked for. On the days we made it to breakfast in the restaurant, the lovely outdoor patio was a great place to relax. None of the "breakfast finishes at 10" at this hotel, they were happy to let us keep visiting the buffet till about 12 noon! In the evening, the wine selection in the bar was great, a relaxing way to finish the night off. Overall the hotel is decorated in a great modern theme and rooms are bigger than those we have stayed in classed as "boutique", so that was great too. What a great find for a wonderfully relaxing hotel in Ipanema Beach. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, staff excellent and friendly and the breakfast and wine was great. Definately recommended.”

Among wonderful buildings and narrow streets, you will find luxurious Miramar Palace Hotel. The hotel offers free of charge - buffet breakfast local phone calls fitness room private parking and valet service and a nice champagne welcome cocktail on arrival.

Rooms are very European: large and modern furnishings but are lovingly attended to by the housekeeping staff. 156 very spacious and comfortable rooms and suites almost all of them have a privileged view of the beach. Every room has cable television central air conditioning private safe mini bar radio two telephone lines and complete bathroom some with hydro-massage and sauna.

For relaxation- terrace with fitness room sauna two Jacuzzis and a breathtaking view of Copacabana and surrounding mountains.

NEW YEARS PACKAGE CONDITIONS - From the period between 28 DEC08 to 01JAN09. New Years Package- In this period the hotel requires a minimum stay of 4 nights - only for December 28 to December 31.

All cancellations must be made 60 days before check-in date to avoid any penalty. In case of cancellation after due date, no show, date change or early check out the hotel will charge for the entire package period 4 nights New Years Package. This charge is NON REFUNDABLE. CARNIVAL PACKAGE CONDITIONS - From the period between 20FEB09 to 25FEB09. Carnival Package- In this period the hotel requires a minimum stay of 5 nights - only for FEBRUARY 20. All cancellations must be 60 days before check-in date to avoid any penalty. In case of cancellation after due date, no show, date change or early check out the hotel will charge for the entire package period 5 nights Carnival Package. This charge is NON REFUNDABLE. It is Important to inform contact telephone number, email address in case that the hotel needs to contact the Travel agency or customer.
