“Absolutely brilliant hotel. I have stayed here for about 3 weeks in total this year. The rooms are enormous (could have a flat panel TV though!) and the best part by far is the bathroom - almost as big as the main room itself. I can't go on about the bathroom enough. LCD to watch TV in there, powerful walkin shower, stylishly decorated. An absolute pleasure. The staff are very attentive, and even when they walked in on me changing once (dry cleaning delivery), they apologised with a bottle of wine. The spa is great (I recommend the massages) and has a decent gym and sauna. The breakfast is excellent (I love the Earl Grey there) in the Vox restaurant. Vox has great food all day, and the best whisky list I have ever seen. It has a great vibe in the evenings. The hotel may be ugly, but the location, rooms and service is great. Highly recommended.”
