“We were extremely happy with this hotel. The rooms were lovely. The hotel is so central. We walked to central park, close to the shops and close to the subway to go downtown. The rooftop bar is amazing. Great cocktails. Definatly give this hotel a try. It was nice to come back to this hotel after long days wandering around the city.”

The rooms of Castle Hill Resort And Spa are overlooked the canal, it is spacious and quiet. An elegant, listed, early 20th century governor s mansion, Castle Hill Resort and Spa is set in the heart of Vermont s Green Mountains. With a wealth of period features, an excellent spa and fitness centre, a tennis court and delicious cuisine, this is a fabulous springboard from which to enjoy the beautiful Ludlow area.

The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to most attractions. Reminiscent of an English country house, the grand staircase, ornamental plasterwork, original 1905 wallpaper in the hall, Tiffany light fixtures and decorative woodwork create a real historic charm. Succumb to the tranquil atmosphere and while away the time in the old carriage house, which is now home to a pampering spa.

Okemo Mountain Resort with its ski trails is close by and is perfect for cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding and sleigh rides. In the summer, the choice of activities is just as diverse with golf and fly fishing, outdoor concerts and tours of picturesque covered bridges.
