“My husband and I just stayed at The Royal Hideaway Playacar for 4 nights and had a great experience! As others have stated this hotel was in a perfect location and the staff was excellent. They couldn't do enough to assist and guide you. The double paned balcony doors and room darkening blinds made you feel like you were off the beaten track..so quiet. Very clean and the mini bar was a convenience also..took the tours that the hotel recommended.”

Designed by world renowned architects, this romantic Caribbean destination, was fashioned an upscale boutique resort for the most astute traveler., Aug 13-Sep 21, 2008: Palazzo restaurant closed for refurbishment. Select menu items will be offered in one of the other restaurants during this period., Oct 20 to Dec 20, 2008: Las Ventanas Restaurant closed for refurbishment. Select menu items will be offered in one of the other restaurants during this period., Nov 3 to Dec 20, 2008: Spices Restaurant closed for refurbishment. Select menu items will be offered in one of the other restaurants during this period. Breakfast is excellent, particularly the pancakes - make sure you get up early enough to enjoy breakfast to the full!
