“The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi is in a great location part way down the famous India Gate. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel room was clean and spacious. We particularly liked the jacuzzi bath and electrically operated beds!! The room had plenty of storage space, free safe and a mini bar if you were thirsty. Our room was on floor 5 and at the back of the hotel so noise was never a problem. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if we went back.”

It is located in the exclusive residential area of Lutyens Delhi, close to the seat of government and minutes away from the bustling city center. The hotel is 20 kms or a 45 minutes drive from the airport.

Rooms are very European: large and modern furnishings but are lovingly attended to by the housekeeping staff. 2) The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi offers restaurants that are known as the dining destinations of the capital. Machan is the 24-hour international eatery offering world cuisine. The House of Ming is Delhis original Cantonese and Sichuan restaurant. The Grill Room is situated on the hotels rooftop serving French specialities. Wasabi by Morimoto serves exquisite Japanese cuisine. Varq serves gourmet Indian cuisine. The Emperors Lounge serves high tea and a selection of coffees and Ricks is the citys most trendy lounge bar serving cocktails.
