“It was our first time in Nice so we decided it would be much easier to order the airport transfer service offered by the hotel for a reasonable 650 czk. It was a very swift transfer to the hotel, which was much appreciated after an early morning flight. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to making reservations etc. We were able to check in as soon as we got there, which allowed us time to relax before setting off to explore the city. My friend and I booked a suite for a 3 night stay and we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a two bedroom/two bathroom suite. In our opinion, the hotel made our holiday. The beds were huge and we had great difficulty leaving it in the mornings! The bathrooms were very adequately equipped, and the advantages of having a bathroom each should not be underestimated. Location was perfect. Situated near Nice Opéra, it was very quiet; yet Old Nice was a five minute walk away and we were surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants. It was a very short walk to MAMAC and other attractions. I would definately recommend this hotel and if I return to Nice at any point in the future, I will most certainly be staying at Hotel Negresco.”

Hotel Negresco offers very good breakfast: bread, diverse cheeses and meats, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, wonderful coffee and tea. Built in 1913, the hotel is a magnificent, privately owned Belle ?poque palace, classified as a National Historic monument. The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront promenade overlooking the scenic Bay of Angels on the Mediterranean Sea. The spectacular salons are richly furnished with a superb personal collection of antiques and extraordinary contemporary works of art. The creative guest rooms, with evocative names like the Suite Louis XVI, Pompadour, and La Traviata, are a unique harmony of history, tradition, and modernity. The Hotel Negresco is located along Nice's famous Promenade Des Anglais., January 4, 2010 to end-JUNE 2010 (re-opening JULY 1, 2010): Hotel is closed for renovations., Voted one of the world?s ten best hotels by the American Association of Travel Editors. The service is impeccable, friendly and welcoming.
