“This is a wonderful hotel and it helped make Valencia one of my favorite places to visit. Our room was decorated with taste. Harmonious colors and patterns on all surfaces and a large mirror with bronze frame all worked together to make me feel at home. The breakfast included lots of fresh fruits and a masterfully made cappuccino. The quality was outstanding. The staff were very helpful. They offered sightseeing tips and printed our boarding passes.”

The Hotel Puerta Valencia, inaugurated in 2004, is just part of the transformation and modernisation of the city of Valencia in recent years. Set next to the new City of the Arts and Sciences (work of the brilliant architect Santiago Calatrava), it is also next to the Port and the city Center. The hotel is convenient for Mestalla Stadium and the city s historic and business centres. Drawings traced over its glazed façade are the work of Javier Mariscal. Recreating a Valencian landscape and typical features of the area, they are sure to turn the hotel into one of the city s icons. This is one of the best hotels you have ever seen.
