“The hotel is in absolute prime location for Rialto Bridge! The staff is extremely kind and helpful and has excellent language skills. We were three ladies in our sixties and shared a triple room which was great fun. The room was comfortable and the bathroom a nice size and all spotlessly clean. The included breakfast is sumptuous! The only drawback is the strreet noise which starts early in the morning when the garbage lorry comes to collect the rubbish from the restaurant next door, but this is only a very minor problem. You will have the time of your life!”

The rooms of Carlton & Grand Canal have a mini-fridge in with some complimentary drinks which is very nice. The Carlton and Grand Canal Hotel is a superior first-class hotel. All double De Luxe rooms offer a splendid view over the Canal Grande and in the heart of the building there is a typical courtyard ("Patio") over which 11 splendid rooms are looking. Here, the clients can enjoy a real Venetian atmosphere. All the rooms have complete bathroom accessories, hair dryer, direct-line telephone, satellite colour TV, fridge/bar, safe, and air conditioning.

Location is very central, many sites are in walking distance. Features : The 145 rooms were completely renovated in 2001 in eighteenth-century Venitian style. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of being home while away from home. The hotel also has a variety of facilities and services that are sure to meet the need of both business and leisure travellers.
