“We had a wonderful stay at Barcelona Hotel Colonial. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate, large, and well-appointed. Breakfast was very good. The location, very near to a tram stop, made it easily accessible to anyone who doesn't mind staying out of the downtown. It was very close to Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) and the Picasso Museum. We loved it and would stay here again. Great experience!”

Hotel Colonial is a 4-star property ideally located in the historical cradle of Barcelona-the Gothic quarter where such landmarks as Cathedral, Catalunya square, Gaudi’s Casa Batllo are placed. The vibe life of the nearby blvd Las Ramblas will make you feel in the centre of action. With its countless shops, trendy boutiques, cafes and restaurants you won’t be short in things to do when you go out. There are 2 underground stops within steps from the hotel: Jaume and Barcelonetta.

The hotel is very pleasant, the staff were without exception absolutely excellent and the location is pretty perfect for exploring the city.

The hotel is set in the Colonial-style building that was renovated in 2009 to provide an extra comfort for the visitors. The elegance of façade is supported with classier interior design adding a special appeal to the luxurious property.

The guestrooms are tastefully decorated with carefully selected fabrics and wooden furnishings and feature all modern amenities one may wish: large bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobes, satellite LCD TV, climate control, Wi-Fi, minibar, safe, phone with voicemail and wake-up service.
