“This is a magnificent hotel. It was beautiful. Bed was so comfy even though I slept in the sofa! Flat Panel TV and Edinburgh Canals were right on our doorstep. Hotel has free internet access and will provide you directions of how to walk there from the famous Omni Centre Edinburgh! Will welcome you at night and every morning we woke up to a freshly - made continental breakfast (optional) which we had in our private dining room with the view. An amazing hotel right in the heart of Edinburgh!”

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel is great and has a sense of humor combined with functionality and a designer flair. With a rich history, this landmark building is returning to hotel trading after 120 years. Built in 1819 the Waterloo Hotel was the first purpose-built large scale hotel in Edinburgh, situated in the heart of the city at the east end of Prince Street. Advertised in 1819 as an establishment where strangers could see the manners of the people and mix with the Society of the place.

Very nice location, near the centre of the city and it is convenient to shopping, dining area. The Apex Waterloo Place Hotel is being developed as a luxury hotel that will set the standard for the ultimate in city chic when it officially opens its doors in March 2009. Urban glamour meets contemporary comfort is very much the philosophy behind Apex Waterloo Place. This luxurious four-star hotel boasts the facilities and attention to detail to rival those of a five star property.
