“This hotel is picturesque from the outside, which we loved. We stay away from big, tourist centric hotels, and this one was perfectly situated between Prado Museum and Puerto del Sol. The hotel was very clean and comforable, however our room was on the first floor, directly and I mean directly next to the breakfast area with a wall size window looking out onto the breakfast terrace. It wasn't noisy, just awkward.”

The rooms of Hotel Villa Real are immaculate, decorated nicely and had a nice view. With an eclectic mix of mesmerising ancient artefacts and modern art, Hotel Villa Real is an exquisite boutique retreat superbly located just steps from Retiro Park in central Madrid, with superb city views and fine dining.

This is something new and exciting. Roman mosaics and Grecian urns share the stage with originals by Andy Warhol, leather chesterfields, antique furnishings, aged marble, wood-panelling, modern sculptures and parquet floors. Choose a two-tier suite for extra space, a Jacuzzi and great views over Plaza de las Cortes.

Sit among the minimalist decor and retro pop art in East 47 restaurant. Museo del Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection and the Reina Sofia Cultural Centre are within minutes of the hotel.
