“The Battle House, A Renaissance Hotel is full of wit and fun, as well as having fantastic staff, being ecologically thoughtful and well-located. Bedrooms look out on to a 'vertical garden'; there's a hammock in each day room; shower water is recycled; the hotel has its own bicycles available for hire; and even the instructions on how to use the electric blinds are nicely self-deprecating! The all-day free snacks are a real boon, but most impressive of all are the staff, whom we found universally helpful and friendly. The hotel is within easy reach on foot of all the main sights, yet is nice and quiet. A top choice.”

Originally built in 1852, this downtown Mobile hotel served as a gathering place for high society and a stopover for celebrated American luminaries and statesmen. Located in the city's revitalized downtown, this hotel is situated near the riverfront and Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center. Guest rooms evoke the opulence of gracious Southern living, and provide the reassurance of modern conveniences and technology. The Trellis Room delights with amazing Italian dishes, awe-inspiring cathedral ceilings, and an upscale show kitchen. The Spa at the Battle House is now open. This 10,000 square foot oasis boasts a full salon, eight treatment rooms, and a Zen-like fire pit in our spectacular, tranquil Quiet Room.
