“We stayed 1 night at the end of our cruise in this hotel. What a fantastic hotel, situated near City Center close to the metro and easy walking ditance of all the main areas of Florence. The hotel and rooms are of modern contempary design, staff are friendly and helpful. The roof area has a pool and bar and is great after a a long day exploring Florence and gives top quality views over the city.”

The hosts of Astoria, A Boscolo First Class Hotel are amazingly nice and helpful. SURROUNDED BY THE REFINEMENT OF FLORENTINE URBAN DESIGN THE MONUMENTAL BOSCOLO ASTORIA IS BUILT AROUND TE NOBLE PALAZZO GADDI. IT IS A PEARL OF THE BAROQUE ERA,FORMER RESIDENCE OF FLORENTINE NOBLEMEN SEEPED IN ART,CULTURE AND SPLENDOURS OF A PAST THAT IS STILL VERY PRESENT.HUGE VAULTED LOUNGES WITH THEIR ORIGINAL FRESCOS,AUTHENTIC TUSCAN TERRACOTTA FLOORS AND PRECIOUS FURNITURE ARE THE ENVIRONMENT WHERE JOHN MILTON WROTE PARADISE LOST.IN THE LOBBY THE GOLDEN SHADES OF THE DECOR MINGLE WITH THE WARM COLOURS OF THE ELEGANT FABRICS,WRAPPING THE GUESTS IN A COSY AND YET SOPHISTICATED ATMOSPHERE. The design is great, the fittings are luxurious, the bed is a dream, everything has been created to create a one off experience.
