“We were VERY happy with this hotel. It was VERY clean and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly. There were some great perks in the room such as free wifi, a great coffee machine, a lot of channels with great movies and personal temp control. We went to the hotel with the expectation that they would hold our luggage until check-in time. However, they actually checked us into the room right away!! Location is very close to the subway, and a 5 min walk to Salzburger Barockmuseum, 10 min from Baroque Museum Salzburg and 15 min from Das Kino Salzburger, Filmkulturzentrum.”

The design of Altstadthotel Amadeus combines the ancient elements and dark warm colours, which make you feel the smell of old times. The small; traditional and exclusive 3 star Hotel is located directly in the historic city center of Salzburg in a quiet street directly in the pedestrian area. Enjoy your stay in Salzburg Old Town in enchanting traditional furnished rooms with all the comfort you need. We serve a great all you can eat breakfast buffet in the morning and free afternoon coffee or tea every day. Most of the famous attractions including Getreidegasse; Mozart Museum; Festival halls as well as the Salzburg Congress Center are easy to reach within a few minutes walking distance. The fairgrounds are just a 10 minutes car ride away. At our front desk we will be happy to help you with sightseeing tours and other information you need including the Sound of Music Tour which picks up twice a day. Additional information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 7-16 receive a 30 pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number. Plenty of space, big comfortable bed and fantastic shower.
